To save your time and ours, we put together this list of our most frequently asked questions.

1. Do you give free estimates?
Yes! We will visit your home and provide you with a free estimate soon after.

2. How does the whole design and estimating process work?
When we first speak, we’ll determine if your project is one we can help you with.  If so, we’ll
schedule an appointment at your home, at a time that’s convenient for you; weekends or evenings
included.  There is no cost or obligation for this initial visit, where we’ll talk and walk through your
project.  We will follow that up with a written estimate and design* and schedule another no cost
meeting at your place to explain the preliminary design and estimate.

*Note:  There may be a fee attached to more elaborate plans.  We would, of course let you know in
advance if this was the case.  For more design info click on our landscape design link.

3.  I don’t know if I can afford what I’m thinking of doing.  How much will it cost?
While there are no hard and fast rules, if you’re talking about remodeling your front or back yard, it’ll
probably cost more than you hoped; not because landscaping is so expensive, but rather because
most people have never had it done professionally, so it’s hard to know what to expect  But don’t be
intimidated.  The important thing is to plan ahead and define your vision.  Then you can go about
making it a reality, in phases if necessary, staying within your budget.  And remember, landscaping is
one of the top home improvement investments you can make, with a 100-200% recovery value,
ahead of kitchen or bathroom remodeling.  Or consider this comparison: The value of a $20,000 new
car will depreciate, on the average, 50% within 5 years, ending up being worth only $10,000.  The
same amount spent on a new landscape will “grow” as it matures over time, adding $20,000 -
$40,000 to the value of your home.

4.  Do you sell sod, dirt, plants, etc.?
Generally no, we are not a landscape supply business.  While we can deliver you materials, it’s
generally done as part of a larger landscape installation project.  We’d be happy to refer you to a
landscape materials supplier near you, if you’d like.  Two of our favorites are MainsLandscapeSupply.
com (in Southfield) or Angelos-Supplies.com (in Farmington and Wixom).

5.  Do you cut lawns?
No, we don’t.  However, we do perform bed maintenance tasks, such as trimming of shrubs and
trees, weeding, spring and fall clean-ups, perennial gardening, etc.  Most lawn crews lack the training
and horticultural knowledge we bring to these jobs.

6.  I just need some mulch and a couple of bushes.  Do you do smaller jobs?
Small is a relative term.  What might have seemed too little a few years ago looks a lot bigger to us in
these trying economic times.  So feel free to ask.

7. Do you provide references?
Absolutely!  Just contact us, and we'll be happy to provide you with addresses of homes in
your area that show examples of our work.

8. Do you provide a warranty for your work?
Of course! You can see it by clicking here: No Hassle, One Year Warranty
