While not a glamorous subject, without good drainage all landscapes suffer. Excess water can kill plants, heave up paving during the winter, attract pests, and leak into your basement or crawl space. Therefore, we approach every project with an eye toward maximizing good drainage. Always start by sloping your soil (or patio) away from the house. This step alone can sometimes save thousands by avoiding the dreaded basement waterproofing project. Another common source of unwanted water are roof downspouts. Dumping gallons of water right next to your foundation is asking for trouble. If it sits there long enough, it will find a way into your basement sooner or later. Our unique “DSS” (downspout system) enables us to extend your downspouts underground, away from the foundation, for a simple, maintainable, out-of-site solution.
All drainage systems we build are backed by our solid, no hassle One Year Warranty.
